katie anne mach X lucca collection launch

Words cannot even begin to describe how excited I am to finally share and show y’all each piece from my first ever clothing collection in collaboration with LUCCA Collection boutique. SOMEONE PINCH ME PLEASE 😍 Never in a million years would I have thought that two and a half years into my blogging/content creation journey I would be curating my very own collection with a local Kansas City boutique. I am truly and deeply grateful and thankful for the opportunity to work with LUCCA. Honestly a dream come true and I wouldn’t be here without all 11K of you! So before we get started, I just wanted to say thank you for being here and for supporting my dream.

Alright, I am not wasting any more time so let’s get right into the details. There are nine pieces total (technically ten if you count the two-piece set 😉) in this collection and everything is $88 and under. I have also broken down each piece below into further detail on how it fits, why I chose it, what I would wear each piece to and what the sizing is like. As a reminder, I am 5’ 4” and typically wear a small in tops/bottoms or a size 4/27 in jeans.

If you have any questions at all please feel free to DM me over on Instagram or shoot me an email here. I love chatting with you girls and connecting 1-on-1. I hope you love this collection as much as I do and I hope you remember that fashion should be a reflection of who YOU are and what makes YOU feel beautiful.

Alright, let’s get this party started y’all!!! 🥰

The Jennifer Two-Piece Set

The Jennifer Two Piece Set

First of all, let me just say that I am a sucker for a two-piece set - especially in the spring/summer. I picked out this set because I absolutely LOVE how feminine and subtly sexy it made me feel putting it on. It is also no shocker that some floral patterns made their way into this collection, but I think every gal should have some kind of print in their closet for any season and I especially love the soft pastel colors in this one.

The ruching down the midline of the top and on the hip of the skirt, hit in all the right places if you ask me, accentuating all your best features. And I know a high slit might not be everyone’s cup of tea (trust me, I don’t typically reach for this when I am shopping for myself!) but this slit IS IT LADIES. I named this two-piece set after one of my close friends, Jennifer. She is always pushing the limits when it comes to fashion and I could totally see her rockin’ this set on the streets of Nashville with her girls on a fun night out on the town!

sizing details: I am wearing a size small in both the top and the skirt. I would definitely say the top is true to size. If in-between sizes, I would size up potentially in the skirt, however, it is pretty high-waisted, so if you are someone who has a smaller waist, I would stick with your true size.

The Jules Bodycon Dress

The Jules Bodycon Dress

I decided to name this dress after my Mom, Julie, because she has truly been one of my first ever inspirations when it has come to fashion. My Mom’s most famous words have always been: “You can never be too dressed up, but you can always be underdressed.” Truer words have never been spoken! I have never felt out of place because I had a fun dress on, but I can definitely tell you that I have felt out of place by not being dressed appropriately for an event. This is where my mantra that fashion should be FUN stems from. Have fun with fashion, make it what YOU want it to be. Some days for me that means a cute workout set or grungy sweats and some days that means a fun bodycon dress like this one 😂 I also picked this dress because i think it would make a perfect dress for an upcoming spring/summer wedding or even for a friends bachelorette trip! Its flirty, its fun and it makes you feel like a $1000 bucks when you put it on!

sizing details: I am wearing a size medium in this bodycon dress. It is a tighter fit, so I definitely recommend sizing up one size, especially if you are typically in-between sizes.

The Kelsie Floral Dress

The Kelsie Floral Dress

I picked this dress because I wanted a piece that could easily take you from day to night with minimal effort, and I believe this dress can take you there in no time. You could easily dress it down with some white tennis shoes and a jean jacket and just as easily dress it up with some heels and a cute bag for a date night out on the town! I also named this dress after one of my longest and dearest friends, Kelsie. I am pretty sure she has something exactly like this dress sitting in her closet as I type this 😂 She is a busy Mom of three and I know a dress like this one would be easy for her to throw on while she is mommin’ around KC, yet still make her feel put together and beautiful all in one. A dress like this one is something every gal should have in her closet, Mom or not!

sizing details: I am wearing a size small in the Kelsie dress. This dress definitely fits true to size, so definitely go with your normal size. The straps are adjustable as well and it does have some stretch!

The Janelle Top & The Mel Short

The Janelle Top + The Mel Short

Something I wanted to try and do my best of with this collection is making it as versatile as possible. These next few pieces I am about to share can definitely be stand-alone pieces, but are also items that you can mix and match as you please. Whether that be with the pieces from this collection or pieces that you already own that are sitting in your closet right now!

If you are a bride-to-be and have yet to go on your bachelorette trip, the Janelle top is a must. It is so fun (just like my friend it’s named after) and I so wish I had something like this to wear on my bachelorette trip to New Orleans years go. Also, these lilac shorts (the Mel short, named after one of my best friends from college) are one of my favorite pieces of this entire collection! The quality of both of these pieces are seriously so good!

sizing details: I am wearing a size small in both the top and the shorts. I would say both fit true to size.

The Ali Bodysuit + The Emily Short

The Ali Bodysuit + The Emily Short

It is always hard for me to pick a “favorite” but I think this all-white look might be it. This Ali bodysuit might also be the best thing I have ever put on my body and I don’t care if that sounds dramatic or not 😂 It’s the perfect combo of classic classy and fun, just like my friend Ali. The material is SO comfortable and I wish it came in more colors. I also LOVE these high-waisted white shorts named after another long-time dear friend of mine, Emily. You can never go wrong with an all white look in the summer in my book! 🌞 Definitely a classy and chic look to rock to any summer BBQ/outdoor get together - just be careful about the BBQ stains 😉

sizing details: I am wearing a size small in the Ali bodysuit and a size medium in the Emily white shorts. I would say the bodysuit is definitely true to size, but if you are in-between sizes in the shorts I would size up one size. I don’t personally love it when shorts hug my thighs, so I think sizing up at least one size is the way to go on these.

The Chelsea Oversized Blazer

The Chelsea Blazer

I feel like oversized blazers are all the rage right now and I obviously had to incorporate one into my collection. I love the lilac color of this one and it is named after one of my dear friends from college, Chelsea. Chelsea is probably one of my most “fashionista” friends and you can always count on her to give you the best advice when it comes to piecing an outfit together. I named this after her because I feel like she is always one step ahead of the trends and I am pretty sure she was rocking the oversized blazer look even back in college. Again, definitely one of the more expensive pieces of the collection, but the quality of the fabric is 100% worth the price and will definitely be a staple piece that can carry you into multiple seasons, not just one.

sizing details: I am wearing a size small in this blazer. The fit is slightly oversized, so I would get your true size, unless you want an even more oversized look.

The Lee Romper

The Lee Romper

Again, I am not someone who can pick a “favorite” but this romper is definitely up there! I love a piece that can take you from season to season and I feel like this romper does just that. Buy it now and enjoy it all the way through fall. This romper fits true to size, has pockets and has a fun bubble sleeve detail with a slightly open back. I named this after one of my dear friends Lee, because she is such a class act. I have learned so much from her when it comes to hosting parties and throwing a tablescape together and I feel like this piece resembles all of that into one, classy and timeless.

sizing details: I am wearing a size small in this romper. I would definitely say this fits true to size.

Welp, that’s a wrap! I hope you guys enjoyed my collection with LUCCA and I hope you find something you love, but most importantly something YOU feel confident and beautiful in. Have an amazing weekend, friends! Your support means more than you could ever imagine (especially if you made it this far in my post - hah!).

with love always,
~Katie
