Be Mine Gin Fizz
The perfect love potion to add to this year’s galentines/valentines day plans 😍 Put my own twist on a classic gin fizz with a little bit of raspberry simple syrup (directions on how to make that is also below!) and a splash of prosecco on top cuz duh 😉
If you are hosting a galentines event, give this fun cocktail a try! It is super easy to make and it is simply delish! How to make it and what you need is all listed out below. If you make this, be sure to tag me over on Instagram Stories ♥️
Cranberry Simple Syrup
Ingredients
1 cup of fresh or frozen raspberries
1/2 cup of water
1/2 cup of sugar
Directions
In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients and bring to a boil stirring occasionally to keep the mixture moving.
Once boiling, remove from heat, let cool, and bottle or put into tupperware to save in the refrigerator for when it’s 5:00 somewhere.
Be Mine Gin Fizz
What You Will Need
*recipe makes one cocktail*
1 ½ oz gin (I prefer tanqueray for more floral-y cocktails!)
1 egg white (which is about 3 T of liquid egg whites)
¾ oz of freshly squeeze lemon juice
¾ oz raspberry simple syrup (recipe is above! It is super easy to make)
3 oz prosecco/sparkling wine. You could also swap this for just sparkling water too!
Rose petals or fresh raspberries for garnish
Directions
First add the egg white to shaker over ice and shake for 10 seconds (shake until foamy)
Then, begin adding the lemon juice, gin and raspberry simple syrup into the same shaker
Shake for about 30 seconds and then pour into your desired cocktail glass. I am linking the ones I used over in my Reel.
Top off your Be Mine Fizz with 3 oz of prosecco or sparkling wine (this is about half of a mini bottle of La Marca or La Bella prosecco)
Garnish your cocktail with a rose petal or fresh raspberries
Sip, cheers and enjoy! 🥰
With love,
